Use Lease Contract Holdover to include Lease Contracts in billing and invoicing despite the expiry date.
- Go to Real Estate Setup and set the parameters related to Lease Contract Holdover:
Go to System Feature Configuration section and turn on Use Lease Contract Holdovers, so related actions could be found and fields on the Lease Contract would be visible. - Go to Lease Contract card and check if Lease Contract Holdoever applies.
- This Lease Contract Holdover wouldn’t apply automatically while creating a new Lease Contract and has to be turned on manually: on the Lease Contract card go to Home and click Enable Holdover.
To turn it off go to Home and click Disable Holdover.
This action could be done without changing Lease Contract Version.
Note:
For Holdover to work Sales prices has to be valid (the dates has to be within the dates Service journal and Invoices are being created).
The Holdover functionality enables charging customers based on the amounts specified in the lease contract. This feature does not affect the posting of purchase invoices to generate charge entries for a lease unit if the contract does not contain a valid service line.
