How to use S4SPC Fields Informational Only

Note

A new field, S4SPC Fields Informational Only, has been added to the following documents lines: 

  • Purchase Orders, Purchase Invoices and Purchase Credit Memos
  • Sales Invoice and Sales Credit Memos

 

 

When the S4SPC Fields Informational Only field is enabled on a Purchase or Sales document line, it indicates that SOFT4Spaces fields are for informational purposes only — validation is skipped and no Charge or Cost entries in Service Ledger Entries are created upon posting.

 

Note

  • This field can be set or changed manually on any Purchase Invoice or Sales Invoice document line. 
  • For documents created automatically from Work Orders, this field is populated by the system as True.
