Before you can configure DocuSign in SOFT4Spaces, you need a DocuSign developer account with an Integration Key and RSA key pair. This guide walks through creating these in the DocuSign developer portal.

  1. Create a DocuSign developer account to access the sandbox environment. Once the account is created, DocuSign automatically assigns a User ID and an API Account ID.
  1. On the Apps and Keys page, choose Add App and Integration Key.
  1. Enter the App Name, then choose Create App.
  2. Select the required Integration Type.
  1. In the Authentication section, select Yes for Is your application able to securely store a client secret?
  2. Set the Authentication Method for your App to Authorization Code Grant.
  1. In the Service Integration section, choose Generate RSA.

Note:

Save both keys in a secure location. DocuSign does not display them again after this step.

  1. Copy the RSA private key and convert it to an XML file. This file is uploaded later in SOFT4Spaces by using the Set RSA Private Key action.
  1. Under Additional settings, add the redirect URI https://businesscentral.dynamics.com/OAuthLanding.htm, then choose Save.
  1. Open E-signature Setup in SOFT4Spaces and choose the Set RSA Private Key action to import the XML file that contains the RSA key.
